Anandsagar Charitable Trust was established in Aug 2009 at Tasgaon Dist- Sangli. Anandsagar started its first CBSE affiliated Public School for the benefit of the rural children on 17 June 2010. This school has a very unique curriculumand it runs as a high-quality knowledge centre. In the course of time we realized that we need to separate the pre-primary students from the elder children. This made us to go for separate pre-primary school at Pundi Road Tasgaon. Within a span of 5 years, Anandsagar was in the hearts and minds of people of western Maharashtra.
The idea was explored by Shri. P R Patil Sir and Shri.B B More Sir. The wings to the organization were given by the support of the parents of Sanjay and Rajendra, Shri. A S Patil (Tatya) and Mrs. C A Patil (Aai). Anandsagar has been lucky to have the support of all the near and dear ones. This couldn't have been possible without the love and affection of all the members of the family.
Anandsagar is aware of the fact that each child is an individual; all children are creative; all children need to succeed. Hence, Anandsagar Institutions respects the individual needs of children; cherish a caring and creative environment; and emphasize the intellectual, social, emotional, physical, spiritual, moral development of each child. These children will have active and creative minds, a sense of understanding, compassion for others and the courage to act on their beliefs.
We endeavour to facilitate the students of rural area with the Public School education and ensure them to emerge as cultured, responsible, creative and successful Global citizens who are ready to make an important contribution to the world by upholding the pride of the nation.

Twenty years of dedicated service to the nation by being the part of Indian Air Force was a matter of pride and honour. Being a part of Operation KARGIL, Operation VIJAY and Operation PARAKRAM gave me the courage to fight the enemy. While on vacation at hometown, a lot of students used to meet me for Career Guidance. I realized that proper education was deficient for the children of our area. During the year 2009, there were hardly any CBSE affiliated schools in western Maharashtra. Sainik School Satara was the only one in this area. Being the student of Satara Sainik School I always felt that such school is needed for the children of this area. This was the origin of Anandsagar. Taking lessons from Sainik School concept, Anandsagar planned to bring the public school education for the children of rural area. The curriculum is well designed to imbibe various qualities in the children while achieving the Academic excellence.
